Bow Ties & Sailor Bows, How to Attach

Every Goody Paws® bow tie and sailor bow has one piece of Velcro in the centre of the bow. One side of the bow wraps around your dog's collar or harness ring, and the other side fastens back onto the Velcro. Wrap and press that is all there is to it.

No fiddly clips. No threading. No tools.

Step by Step:

Step 1 Put your dog's collar or harness on as normal first.

Step 2 Hold the bow with the Velcro facing you and the decorative side facing outward.

Step 3 Take one side of the bow and wrap it around your dog's collar or through a harness ring.

Step 4 Bring the other side of the bow around to meet it.

Step 5 Press both sides together firmly onto the Velcro until secure.

Step 6 Slide the bow into position so it sits centred and facing forward.

Step 7 Give it a gentle tug to make sure it is secure before heading out.

Where to Position the Bow:

On a collar slide to the front so the bow sits under your dog's chin facing forward. Classic, neat and perfect for photos.

On a harness attach to one of the harness rings or straps. Many customers love the bow sitting between the shoulder blades on the back strap for a really stylish look.

Bow Tie or Sailor Bow What is the Difference?

Bow Tie, a classic symmetrical bow shape. Neat, smart and perfect for everyday walks or special occasions.

Sailor Bow, a slightly larger, more relaxed and flowing bow shape. Perfect for dogs who like to make a statement.

Flower Charms - How to Attach

Every Goody Paws® flower charm has a single elastic loop on the back. You simply thread your dog's collar or the back strap of their harness through the elastic loop and the flower sits in place naturally against the collar or harness.

No Velcro. No clips. Just thread and go.

Step by Step:

Step 1 Put your dog's collar or harness on as normal first.

Step 2 Hold the flower charm with the elastic loop facing you.

Step 3 Take the elastic loop and thread your dog's collar or harness back strap through it.

Step 4 Slide the flower along the collar or strap to your preferred position.

Step 5 The flower will sit naturally in place held by the elastic loop around the collar or strap.

Step 6 Give it a gentle adjustment so the flower faces forward and looks its best.

Where to Position the Flower Charm:

On a collar slide to the front so the flower sits at the centre of your dog's chest or under their chin. Beautiful for photos and everyday walks.

On a harness thread the elastic loop over the back strap so the flower sits between the shoulder blades. This works particularly well with the Petal Paws collection for a full floral look.
