Which Harness Should I Choose?
Not sure which Goody Paws® harness is right for your dog? You are in the right place.
We offer two harness styles, the Tough Style Harness and the Adjustable Harness.
This guide will help you choose the perfect one for your dog in minutes.
If you are still not sure after reading this, email us at info@goodypaws.co.uk with your dog's breed and measurements and we will personally recommend the right option for you.
The Adjustable Harness — Is This the One for You?
The Adjustable Harness slips over your dog's head and fastens with one clip underneath. It is a simple, fuss free design that most dogs settle into quickly and comfortably.
It is made from easy clean neoprene fabric with a breathable mesh lining, and features D-rings on both the front and back for flexible lead attachment.
The Adjustable Harness is best for:
Dogs who are comfortable with things going over their head and prefer a lighter, simpler harness style.
Smaller and lighter dogs who do not need the additional security of a multi-buckle system.
Dogs who need maximum adjustability the neck and chest straps both adjust independently to get the perfect fit across a wide range of shapes and sizes.
Owners who want a lightweight, easy-clean harness for everyday walks.
Dogs who run warm or walk in wet conditions the breathable mesh lining and neoprene fabric dry quickly and are easy to wipe clean.
Available in XS, S, M and L.
Neck: adjustable. Chest: adjustable. One clip fastening.
The Tough Style Harness Is This the One for You?
The Tough Style Harness is our most secure harness. It features one front clip on the chest and two back clips, giving you three points of fastening for maximum security and a confident, snug fit every time.
It is made from breathable padded mesh with reflective trim on the edges for low light visibility, and features metal D-rings on both the front and back for lead attachment.
The Tough Style Harness is best for:
Dogs that pull on the lead. The front D-ring attachment redirects a pulling dog to the side rather than allowing them to pull forward with full force making walks calmer and more enjoyable for both of you.
Brachycephalic breeds such as French Bulldogs, Pugs, Bulldogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Boston Terriers. The padded chest panel distributes pressure across the chest rather than the throat, and the three-clip system ensures a secure fit around their unique body shape.
Stronger, more active or more adventurous dogs who need a harness that will hold firm under pressure.
Owners who want maximum security the lockable buckles will not accidentally release during a walk.
Dogs walked in low-light conditions the reflective trim makes your dog visible from a distance in the dark.
Owners who want a machine-washable harness the Tough Style washes at 30°C and air dries quickly.
Available in XS, S, M, L and XL.
Neck: 23–79cm across the size range. Chest: 32–107cm across the size range. Three clip fastening one front, two back.

Which Harness for My Breed?
French Bulldog - Tough Style Harness. The padded chest panel and three-clip system suits their deep chest and short neck. Use the chest measurement as your primary sizing guide. Most French Bulldogs need a Small.
Pug - Tough Style Harness. Same reasons as French Bulldogs. Use chest measurement first. Most Pugs need an XS or Small.
Cockapoo - Either style works well depending on your dog's size and energy level. For a Standard Cockapoo who pulls, the Tough Style in M is ideal. For a Miniature Cockapoo on gentle walks, the Adjustable in S or M is a great lightweight option.
Cavapoo - Either style. For active Cavapoos, the Tough Style in S. For calmer or smaller Cavapoos, the Adjustable in S works beautifully.
Cocker Spaniel - Either style. The Tough Style in S or M is ideal for spaniels who love to charge about. The Adjustable in M suits calmer Spaniels well.
Labrador - Tough Style Harness in L or XL. Labradors are strong dogs who benefit from the security of the three-clip system and the front D-ring for managing pulling.
Chihuahua and Toy breeds - Adjustable Harness in XS. Lightweight, comfortable, and easy to put on small frames.
Dachshund - Adjustable Harness in XS or S. Their long bodies and short legs suit the over-the-head style well.
